Project Narrative

Casa San Juan Bosco is 53-unit detached farmworker community consisting of 37, three-bedroom/two-bath units and 16, four-bedroom/two-bath units situated on 29.65 acres. The project was financed using HOME funds through the Florida Housing Finance Agency, Section 514 and 516 funds through USDA-Rural Development, and owner equity.

With rental assistance from the USDA, Casa San Juan Bosco is able to provide clean, safe housing for farmworkers who otherwise could not afford it. The community was designed with safety and families in mind by fronting the homes on open green space rather than roadways.
