Project Narrative
Bayou Bluff is a 30-unit single family development in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Bayou Bluff was awarded an allocation of tax credits in 2010. The mixed-financed plan included leveraging investor equity, Section 901 funds allocated to the Lake Charles Housing Authority from HUD.
The construction of Bayou Bluff added replacement housing for families on the waitlist prior to Hurricane Rita. The development was designed as single-family homes that reflect the “craftsman” architecture of the surrounding neighborhood.
